Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale apply to every order, reservation, and pre-order placed with Rumyantsev Cigar Co., LLC ("Rumyantsev Cigar Co", "we", "us") through this website, chat, email, phone, or in person. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund & Return Policy, and our Pickup & Local Delivery Policy.

Adults 21 and older only

• This site and everything we sell are for adults 21 years of age or older. You must be 21+ to browse, reserve, pre-order, or buy.
• We check a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID at every pickup and delivery, no matter how old the customer appears.
• Orders are released only to the adult purchaser named on the order. The name on the ID must match the order (and the cardholder, when paying by card).
• You may not buy for, give to, or resell to anyone under 21. We refuse any sale we believe is being made for an underage person.
• We do not market to minors and do not use youth-oriented imagery, characters, or promotions.

How ordering works

• Reservations. You can build a cart and reserve items online. A reservation is a request; it is confirmed when we contact you to arrange pickup or local delivery.
• Pre-orders. Some out-of-stock items can be pre-ordered. A pre-order adds you to a waiting list so we can email you when the item is back in stock. It takes no payment and does not hold stock.
• Fulfillment. We currently offer local pickup and local delivery only, within about 5 to 10 miles of our Ephrata, Pennsylvania location. We do not ship orders. See the Pickup & Local Delivery Policy.
• Boxes and singles. Single cigars are sold from an opened box. A full box is offered only while a full, factory-sealed box is in stock.
• We may limit quantities, decline, or cancel any order, for example if an item is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we cannot verify age or identity. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

Prices, taxes, and fees

• Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one confirmed with your order.
• Applicable Pennsylvania sales tax and any other required taxes are added at the time of sale.
• Local delivery is a separate line item on your order ($5 within a 5-mile radius, $10 within a 10-mile radius).

Payment

• Payment is currently taken in person by card (tap, insert, or swipe) or another accepted method at pickup or delivery, after your ID is checked.
• If we offer online prepayment in the future, card payments will be handled entirely by our payment processor on its own secure, hosted payment page.
• This website never collects or stores your card number, expiration date, or security code.

Product information and health warning

We describe products as accurately as we can, but tobacco is a natural product and color, size, and flavor can vary. Photos are for illustration. Cigars are not a safe alternative to cigarettes.

WARNING: Cigar smoking can cause lung cancer and heart disease. Tobacco products contain nicotine, an addictive chemical.

Chat assistant

Our website chat includes an automated assistant that answers general questions from our catalog. Its answers may be incomplete or wrong and are not a promise of price or availability. Please confirm anything important with us directly. Messages you send to the shop through the chat are read by our staff.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. The version posted when you place an order applies to that order.
